Our verdict

Soni is a quietly powerful film that examines the personal and professional struggles of two women in the Delhi police force. Ivan Ayr's direction and the lead performances make it a worthwhile watch for fans of realistic drama. However, its slow pace and heavy subject may not appeal to everyone.
