Our verdict
Babita Singh Reporting uses a murder investigation to show a people-pleasing cop finding her voice. Nimisha Sajayan’s ASI Babita faces dismissive in-laws and an apathetic police force, which gives the crime drama a personal stake. At 131 minutes, it is a grounded Hindi crime story rather than a fast thriller.
