Kalki 2898-AD story (no spoilers)
Set in the year 2898 AD, roughly 6000 years after the Kurukshetra war, the film follows Ashwatthama, an immortal warrior preparing for a final battle of redemption in a dystopian world. Bhairava, a wisecracking and self-interested bounty hunter tired of his perilous life, becomes an obstacle to that process. The story unfolds as a blend of drama, action, fantasy and science fiction, with the tagline 'For a better Tomorrow' hinting at the hope driving Ashwatthama's quest. The tone mixes futuristic spectacle with mythological echoes, as Bhairava's own motivations complicate the larger conflict.
