De De Pyaar De 2 story (no spoilers)
Ashish Mehra meets his girlfriend Ayesha Khurana's parents for the first time, and their age difference immediately causes outrage. Her father Rakesh Khurana and mother Anju Khurana are determined to drive Ashish out of their daughter's life, leading to a madcap plot full of comedic schemes. The film mixes comedy, romance and drama as Ashish tries to win over her family while navigating their disapproval. Set in Hindi and English, the story unfolds over 146 minutes with a U/A 13+ certificate. The tone is light and chaotic, with the clash between generations driving the humour and the emotional stakes.

Our verdict
De De Pyaar De 2 brings back Ashish and Ayesha for another round of family chaos, this time with her parents scheming to split them up. The cast, including Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh and R. Madhavan, keeps the tone light despite the familiar premise. It's a straightforward comedy-drama for those who enjoyed the first film.
