Toilet: A Love Story story (no spoilers)
Keshav Sharma (Akshay Kumar) and Jaya Sharma (Bhumi Pednekar) are newlyweds in a rural Indian village where open defecation is the norm. Jaya, who grew up with a toilet at home, is horrified to discover her new marital home has none. She threatens to leave Keshav unless he installs one. To win back her love and respect, Keshav embarks on a journey to fight against the backward society that resists change. The film blends comedy, drama, and romance as Keshav confronts village elders like Kakka (Anupam Kher) and Panditji (Sudhir Pandey) while trying to build a toilet for his wife.

Watch it for

Skip it if

- You want a purely romantic film; the central conflict revolves around building a toilet rather than conventional romance.
