Sonali Cable story (no spoilers)

Sonali, a spunky self-made internet operator, proudly runs a small outfit with her band of ghetto boys catering to a sprawling Mumbai suburb. Her childhood sweetheart Raghu returns from the United States and helps bring her enterprise into the 21st century. But not all forces of modernization are kind: SHINING INC, a huge corporation, wants her out to complete their monopoly of Shining Broadband in the city. Sonali refuses, and it's war. This character-driven, edgy survival drama follows an ordinary girl, a sizzling love interest, and her rag-tag family of internet cable technicians for whom Sonali Cable Centre is more than a livelihood—it's their home.

Our verdict

Sonali Cable is a straightforward underdog drama powered by Rhea Chakraborty's spirited Sonali and the clash with Shining Inc. The 127-minute runtime gives space to the romance and the rag-tag crew, though the corporate villainy can feel familiar. It's an honest, grounded watch if you like small-scale survival stories.
