Happy Journey story (no spoilers)
Seven women from different generations leave their everyday routines behind for a spontaneous European getaway. The film follows their journey as plans shift and lives change along the way, blending family, comedy and adventure.
Should you watch Happy Journey?
Watch it for
- A rare Telugu film led by an ensemble of seven women across generations, including Aamani, Jhansi, Annapoorna, Paayal Radhakrishna and Sunaina Badam.
- Director Abhiramm Naidu blends Family, Comedy and Adventure genres against European backdrops.
- The 125-minute runtime keeps the trip brisk and easy to fit into an evening.
- The tagline 'Some Trips Change Plans... Some Changes Lives' signals a warm, character-driven tone rather than a plot-heavy thriller.
Skip it if
- You prefer action-driven or high-stakes plots over a gentle, conversation-led travel comedy.
- You are looking for a male-led mainstream Telugu entertainer; this one centres on seven women.
- You dislike films that rely on group dynamics and scenic European locations rather than a single central conflict.
