Our verdict
Dorothy brings together Karthik Subbaraj's direction, Keerthy Suresh's performance, and Ilaiyaraaja's music in a serious drama about friendship and social pressures. The film's A certificate and focus on caste and violence make it clear this is not light entertainment. If you appreciate character-driven stories set in rural Tamil Nadu, this could be worth your time.
