Dacoit story (no spoilers)
Dacoit is a Telugu action-romance-thriller centred on Haridas, a man who is betrayed by his partner and convicted for a crime he did not commit. After he is freed, he sets out to hunt her down, driven by a need for vengeance. As Haridas closes in, his story becomes tangled with a series of robberies, pulling in a wider circle of characters including D Rambabu, Solomon, Prasad, SI Janaki, Malli and Ishaq Bhai. The film moves between the wreckage of a broken relationship and the tension of a manhunt, with Saraswati, also called Juliet, at the heart of the betrayal. Directed by Shaneil Deo, the film runs 150 minutes and is certified U/A 13+. Its tone is tense and propulsive, built around pursuit and payback rather than easy resolution.

Our verdict
Dacoit pairs a revenge story with a robbery plot and a cast led by Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur. Shaneil Deo directs a 150-minute Telugu action-romance-thriller that is certified U/A 13+. It is a straightforward pick for fans of the genre, though the long runtime and vengeance-driven tone may not suit everyone.
