Chennai Love Story story (no spoilers)
Chennai Love Story follows Nivedita, called Nivi, and Steven Shankar as they experience first love. The Telugu romance drama, directed by Ravi Namburii, centres on the powerful emotions that come with a new relationship and the obstacles the two face while discovering how delicate newfound romance can be. Nivi's friends and her parents, played by Devi Prasad and Pramodini Pammi, are part of the world around her, while Ajay, played by Thrigun, is also in the mix. The film runs 184 minutes and is certified U/A 16+, so the tone leans toward mature romantic drama rather than light comedy. Mani Sharma provides the music. The story stays focused on the two young people and the early, uncertain stage of falling in love, without giving away how their situation resolves.

Watch it for
- Sri Gouri Priya Reddy plays Nivi opposite Kiran Abbavaram as Steven Shankar in a Telugu romance drama built around first love.

- Mani Sharma, a long-established Telugu film composer, handles the music.

Our verdict
Chennai Love Story is a straightforward Telugu romance drama about Nivi and Steven Shankar finding their way through first love, with Mani Sharma's music and Ravi Namburii directing. The 184-minute runtime and U/A 16+ certificate mean it is a commitment rather than a quick watch. If you like long, emotional relationship stories in Telugu, it fits that slot.
