Bharathanatyam 2 Mohiniyattam story (no spoilers)
Bharathanatyam 2 Mohiniyattam follows the family of the late Bharathan Nair as they travel to Sreekandapuram to settle his second wife and son. The trip takes a dark turn when an issue from Bharathan's past resurfaces, leading to an unexpected crime. Forced into a desperate cover-up to protect their future, the family must navigate a treacherous path of secrecy and mounting pressure, determined to overcome any obstacle by any means necessary. This Malayalam comedy-thriller, directed by Krishnadas Murali, blends tense situations with dark humour as the family's attempts to manage the crisis spiral into increasingly risky decisions. Our verdict
Bharathanatyam 2 Mohiniyattam offers a gripping mix of comedy and thriller, with Saiju Kurup leading a family caught in a web of secrets. The 145-minute runtime allows the tension to build, though the dark premise may not appeal to all. It's a solid pick for those who enjoy franchise films with a twisty plot.
